Booking, Cancellation and Deposit Policy
Last updated: June 2026
At Precision Medical Aesthetics, appointments are reserved exclusively for you. We kindly ask that patients provide adequate notice if they need to cancel or rearrange an appointment so that the appointment can be offered to another patient.
Booking Deposits
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment.
The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and will be deducted from the cost of treatment on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are used to reserve clinic time and are therefore subject to the cancellation terms below.
Consultation Fees
Some treatments require a dedicated consultation appointment before treatment can be undertaken safely and appropriately.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Tear trough filler
Non-surgical rhinoplasty
Surgical skin lesion removal
Larger or more complex scar revision treatments
Cases requiring detailed treatment planning
A consultation fee of £50 may be charged for these appointments.
The consultation fee covers:
Medical assessment and suitability review
Discussion of treatment options
Risk and benefit discussion
Treatment planning
Written advice where appropriate
Where treatment proceeds within 3 months of the consultation, the consultation fee will be deducted from the cost of treatment.
Consultation fees are non-refundable once the consultation has taken place, regardless of whether the patient subsequently decides to proceed with treatment.
The consultation fee will be refunded if treatment is declined by the practitioner on clinical grounds and no further treatment options are available.
Appointment Changes and Cancellations
Appointments may be cancelled or rearranged without penalty provided at least 48 hours' notice is given.
Where 48 hours' notice is provided, deposits can be transferred to a future appointment.
Late Cancellations
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the loss of the booking deposit.
This includes cancellations made due to changes in personal circumstances, work commitments, childcare arrangements or non-emergency illness.
Non-Attendance
Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice ("Did Not Attend" or "No Show") will result in the full loss of any deposit paid.
Patients who repeatedly fail to attend appointments may be required to pay in full at the time of booking for future appointments.
Arriving Late
If you arrive late for your appointment, we will make every effort to accommodate you.
However, depending on clinic commitments, your treatment may need to be shortened, modified or rescheduled.
If insufficient time remains to safely complete your treatment, the appointment may be cancelled and the deposit retained.
Medical Suitability
All treatments are subject to consultation and assessment.
Payment of a deposit does not guarantee treatment.
If, following consultation, treatment is deemed unsuitable, unsafe or not in your best interests, treatment may be declined.
Where treatment is declined by the practitioner on clinical grounds, any treatment deposit paid will normally be refunded.
Cooling-Off Period
Patients are encouraged to take time to consider any proposed treatment and are under no obligation to proceed.
Treatment will only be undertaken following informed consent.
Refunds
Once treatment has been provided, fees are generally non-refundable.
Medical aesthetic treatments involve biological variation and individual responses differ. As such, specific results cannot be guaranteed.
Where concerns arise following treatment, patients are encouraged to contact the clinic so that appropriate review and aftercare can be arranged.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occasionally arise.
Any request for a deposit refund outside of this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Precision Medical Aesthetics.
