Removal of minor skin lesions
Many benign skin lesions are now considered cosmetic concerns and are therefore not routinely treated by the NHS. At Precision Medical Aesthetics, we offer assessment and removal of selected benign skin lesions in a safe, professional, medically-led environment.
Depending on the type of lesion, treatments may include cryotherapy (freezing treatment) or minor surgical removal techniques. Every consultation includes a thorough assessment to determine the most appropriate treatment approach and ensure suitability.
Patient safety and clinical care remain at the heart of every procedure, with treatments performed by an experienced NHS Consultant using a meticulous, safety-first approach.
Follow-up appointments are also included to monitor healing, review results, and provide ongoing aftercare support throughout your treatment journey.
PLEASE NOTE: Any lesion with uncertain diagnosis or concerning features may require GP or dermatology assessment prior to treatment. This includes all moles.
Cryotherapy
CryoPen is an advanced cryotherapy treatment used to safely and effectively treat a range of benign skin lesions. Using a precise jet of nitrous oxide, the treatment works by freezing targeted tissue with minimal impact on the surrounding skin.
CryoPen can be used to treat selected lesions including skin tags, age spots, seborrhoeic keratoses, cherry angiomas, viral warts, and other benign skin concerns following clinical assessment.
Treatment is quick, minimally invasive, and requires little downtime, making it a convenient option for many patients. Every appointment begins with a thorough consultation to assess suitability and ensure the lesion is appropriate for treatment.

IS CRYOPEN TREATMENT PERMANENT?
Many lesions respond to a single session, but some, especially thicker or deeper viral lesions, can need multiple treatments.
WILL IT SCAR?
Any lesion removal can scar. Cryotherapy often heals with minimal scarring, but pigment change (lighter or darker marks) can be more noticeable than scarring for some clients, particularly in darker skin tones.
CAN I GO BACK TO NORMAL ACTIVITIES?
Most people can. Patients are usually advised to protect the area from friction or trauma and follow hygiene and aftercare guidance, especially if blistering occurs. If the treated area is exposed to daylight (especially the face, neck, chest, or hands), it’s also important to use a broad-spectrum SPF daily while the skin heals. This helps reduce the chance of post-treatment pigmentation marks (darker or lighter patches) and supports a more even-looking result.
Minor surgery
For larger benign skin lesions that may not be suitable for cryotherapy treatment, minor surgical removal may be offered following clinical assessment. Procedures are performed under local anaesthetic in a safe, professional, medically-led environment.
Depending on the lesion type and location, removal may involve sutures, with follow-up appointments arranged to monitor healing, provide aftercare support, and remove stitches where required.
At Precision Medical Aesthetics, patient safety and clinical precision remain central to every procedure. As histology services are not currently available, only lesions confidently assessed as benign and appropriate for cosmetic removal can be treated. Any lesion with uncertain features or diagnostic concern may require referral for further medical or dermatological assessment prior to treatment.
Vitamin B12 Injections

Medical Microneedling
